All posts in Notes

Hello.

I am in the process of moving. I am stressed and busy and very, very happy. I’m sort of waiting to get that urge to blog on the regular again. It’s not happening, I’m sorry!

Here are some photos I took with one of my favourite cameras within the last two months. I miss messing around with digital. Soon, I suppose.

Completely in love with this flickr stream. I had a really hard time choosing favourites; it’s worth the look.

Taking Notes

As paper is my kryptonite, I’d thought I’d hi-light some great stationary shops. Top two images from here and the calendar is from here. Here and here are great places to visit too.

Some Art and Some Updates

This artwork is from Sandra Diekmann’s Etsy shop. I’m absolutely in love with all of her illustrations and I’m pretty sure that I would buy every single one of them if I had the money to do so.

It’s been a while since I’ve blogged. Mostly I’ve been busy with this and working a lot (more on Broken City Lab later). I also am now the director of the Windsor chapter of a charity called Meal Exchange. I want to do some really fun stuff with it and I’m excited for the events to take place. I’ll be writing about them too; food politics is something I’ve always been super interested in (I am a vegan, after all!), and it makes sense to join up with a charity that addresses these issues.

And here’s some of the biggest news I have: I’m moving! I found the most perfect apartment! It has a loft and more importantly, central air, which is a must if you’ve ever visited my city. It’s also just the right price and location. I’m very lucky to have found it. I move late July.

Naturally, instead of thinking of useful, practical things like buying couches, I’ve been looking at artists and illustrators. I suppose some of that is warranted; the apartment has enough room for me to afford a little studio/study space, plus a bedroom. I sort of can’t wait to decorate. And move!

More later.

Live the Language

Here is a series of absolutely fantastically beautiful videos shot for the EF International Language Centres “Live the Language” campaign.

And since it’s Sunday…

Here’s a small collection of things that made me smile.

This one especially! Look at the Timbits!
